Work as a Team Leader

As a Team Leader, you will meet customer expectations by serving as the primary point of contact for your team of 15-20 Operators. You engage regularly with your employees to support their growth and improvement. You conduct contract discussions, manage absences, conduct performance reviews, and provide feedback to enhance performance.

To enhance daily processes and results, you collaborate extensively with stakeholders from Customer Service, Planning, and Traffic Office. Additionally, you develop work instructions and foster the continuous development of your team while addressing ad-hoc customer inquiries.

Your team relies on your support to thrive and perform optimally. You communicate regularly with fellow Team Leaders to stay informed about departmental developments throughout the day and report to the Shift Manager.

Within 2 to 3 years, you have the opportunity to advance to the role of Shift Manager through a structured development program.

In addition, your responsibilities include:

  • Gaining insights into effective processes and identifying areas of improvement.
  • Monitoring the performance levels of your colleagues and ensuring they receive necessary training.
  • Upholding safety standards in our workplace.
  • Coaching your team, not only on daily performance but also on their ambitions and personal development.
  • Conducting absence/reintegration, performance, and appraisal discussions.
  • Scheduling (training) hours and maintaining records of hours worked and personnel changes.

  • You have a good understanding of systems and strong analytical skills to create reports and analyses.
