This is what you contribute as a Logistics Team Leader
You take your team to a higher level and meet customer expectations. You do this by coaching your team members one-on-one and analyzing their performance. This allows you to optimize processes flawlessly and discover bottlenecks. In addition, you provide work instructions and further development for your team, and you also respond to ad hoc questions from our customers.
You will directly manage up to 20/25 Warehouse Operators in our Inbound or Picking & Shipping department. As a Team leader, you will allow your colleagues to work even more efficiently because you:
- Gain insight into which processes are running well and know where the bottlenecks are
- Register the performance level of your colleagues and make sure they follow training courses
- Create reports and get results from the warehouse management system
- Ensure safety on our work floor
- Discuss improvement proposals with the Operations Manager, Shift Manager and keep your fellow Team leaders informed
- Organize your team. This means that you:
- Coach your team members, considering their ambitions and developments
- Conduct assessment and performance interviews
- Conduct absence / reintegration – and other interviews
- Ensure the right staffing
- Schedule training hours and keep the time sheets and personnel movements up to date

As a Team leader, you will work for one of these sites, which is dedicated to multiple customers such as Philips. The level of the site is high, so your bar will be high, and this will stimulate your personal development. Your talents as Supervisor Warehouse
- Minimum of two years’ experience as a Team leader, Supervisor, cooperating foreman or forewoman
- Organizational ability
- Strong communication in Engels and another 2nd language
- Stand firm in your shoes and stress resistant
- Able to manage your team and bring out the best in them
- Feeling with Microsoft Office programs (like Excel and PowerPoint) and Warehouse Management Systems, so you can make reports and analyses
